Bethan & Thomas are two souls who found each other far from home, in Edinburgh. With its winding streets and enchanting villages to get lost in, Edinburgh is a place of romance. Designed for lovers to run to. 

Both studying at the university, the pair have found a home in Edinburgh and each other and will be tying the knot later this year.  

Their relationship is based on shared values and playfulness. On this sunny evening in early spring we joined them to capture their love in their favourite city ahead of their wedding day in Summer. The pair agreed to meet on the stone bridge over the river in Dean Village. They soaked up the setting sunshine and fell deeper in love,

A & D shared a wedding day that was so beautiful in its simplicity. 

Their ceremony took place on a sunny afternoon at Edinburgh City Chambers. They read vows and poems to each other and there was not a dry eye in the whole room. 

After the ceremony, we took some family photographs outside at the nearby Parliament Square which despite being so close to the Royal Mile is always quiet enough for some post-ceremony photographs!

Their families left for the next location - a delicious meal at Timberyard - while A & D enjoyed a long and romantic stroll through Edinburgh's Old Town. Under some glorious golden sun A & D shared laughter, kisses and dreams for their future as a newly married couple. Congratulations!
