Glencoe Couple Adventure Session

Joel & Katie share the sweetest love. One based on shared values, shared faith and a shared love of music. Joel plays multiple instruments and Katie is the vocal accompaniment. The pair use these talents to build their community and connect with others and each other.

Our paths crossed as they booked an adventure couples session in Glencoe, feeling the familiar draw that brings so many of us to these rolling hills. They were looking for a relaxed couples photography experience with their home, Scotland, at the heart. We eased into the session with some tea before exploring what Glencoe had to offer. On this warm spring day they visited waterfalls, roamed Gencoe Valley and spent some time by the River Coe to set an intention into stone for their relationship to come. This is an ancient Scottish custom known as an Oathing Stone.

As the sun began to set, J & K found a stone in the Valley on which they could perch to end the day in a way that felt most authentic to them - in song. They sung some of their favourite hymms as well as Caledonia, an ode to the country we share. A hauntingly beautiful & emotional moment as evening descended on the valley.

Katie & Joel

Bethan & Thomas are two souls who found each other far from home, in Edinburgh. With its winding streets and enchanting villages to get lost in, Edinburgh is a place of romance. Designed for lovers to run to.

Both studying at the university, the pair have found a home in Edinburgh and each other and will be tying the knot later this year.

Their relationship is based on shared values and playfulness. On this sunny evening in early spring we joined them to capture their love in their favourite city ahead of their wedding day in Summer. The pair agreed to meet on the stone bridge over the river in Dean Village. They soaked up the setting sunshine and fell deeper in love,
